Cedar Falls Tourism and Visitors Bureau Board Grant Provides Vital Funds For The Growth Of Youth Football
Iowa 7on7 Football recently received two $3,000 grants from the Cedar Falls Tourism and Visitors Bureau Board. Thanks to this grant, Iowa 7on7 Football will be able to support its UNI Dome expenses for the Back 2 Ballin High and Youth events. This will continue to allow us to provide an exciting and developmental event.
Coralville, IA 02/02/2024 – Iowa 7on7 Football Announced The Awarded Grant
The City of Cedar Falls and its Tourism & Visitors Bureau offers funding to be used to attract, develop, or market an event, meeting or convention, sporting competition or attraction, which will bring visitors to Cedar Falls thereby increasing overnight stays and/or tourism spending.
This supports their goals of maintaining and enhancing Cedar Falls as a preferred destination for sporting events, supporting the Cedar Valley Sports Commission in growing sporting events in the Cedar Valley, creating compelling content and publications to promote Cedar Falls as a quality destination for sporting events, and promoting Cedar Falls through paid advertisements in appropriate print, digital, social, broadcast and other media.

Iowa 7on7 Football plans to forever continue the Back 2 Ballin events in the UNI Dome. It has become a staple of what we are, and everyone involved only helps grow our organization. We enjoy working with Cedar Falls Tourism to grow the surrounding area by involving out of region teams to immerse themselves into the area. These events will continue to develop, and everyone benefits from the Real Fun Football experience!

In 2019 Iowa 7on7 Football Inc. a non-profit organization was born. We took a huge step forward in getting things organized and active. We were inspired by the many people that were excited about playing upon hearing about the game, and we made a lot of friends along the way. Iowa 7on7 now has over 200 teams from all over the state participating in our events. We have been grateful to provide an opportunity for youth athletes to enhance their skills, and we look forward to helping many more in the future.
